We had planned to have tea together and then some creative prayer time to mark Ascension, so I added in something of Thy Kingdom Come as well. I blagged a lot of ideas from the prayer stations on the Thy Kingdom Come pages.
We made each station out in the garden, which allowed us to link in to the sense in the Acts 1 account of the Ascension of the disciples gazing up at the clouds....
...and we made a small labyrinth using pebbles to mark the pathways.
