Praying in the Garden

For Maundy Thursday our pattern has been to share a time of worship with our neighbours at the Baptist Church. We gathered for simple food, and then moved into the Garden, which we adapted from yesterday's 'Holy Place'.

We sat facing the Garden and we read sections from John 15 to 17, reflecting on what those words meant for us today, not least in that we are included by Jesus in his intercessions (John 17:20). We then used those words in our own prayers.

The banner we made will fit into our Prayer Space when we have finished Holy Week.
