We managed to make up a missed day off to give us a night away on the beautiful Gower peninsula. We found a site right on the headland by Port Eynon which was beautiful, quiet and breezy!
Being so close to the beach gave us plenty of time to walk and explore, and the receding tide made for some interesting shapes in the wash with longer exposures.
There were some fabulous rock pools to explore, providing the chance to try to capture a more intimate landscape style shot.
But further round the coast lay the glorious Rhossilli bay with the downs behind them facing the setting sun. Too much of a temptation of a panoramic shot in the warm evening light.
A great way to maximise 36 hours away in the camper and we were also able to test some new bits of kit ahead of some longer trips in the summer.
