Doing Collective Worship at the Secondary School this week, which means five pretty much identical stints - by Saturday what I have to say is honed to virtual perfection.
The theme I have is Harvest, but not sure what I said last night is quite as transferrable as I had hoped - so need some inspiration...
...pretty quickly...
...like, er, now please.

Bit late, but use cake. Get 5 people up the front, and split the cake 5 ways according to the % of wealth distribution across the world population. From what I recall it's roughly 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 11.5 and 85%. Then get the 5 people to eat their share of the cake. Talk about whether it's fair, and what could be done about that. After 5 mins, ask the person eating the 85% how well they're feeling. Tidy up what's left and leave it in the staffroom - great way to win over the staff!
Use appropriate Bible passages to link in - Matthew 25, Zaccheus, Deuteronomy bit on saving the tithe then having a party to which you invite the poor, etc.
